Reviews

Learning of life in a new country necessitates a lot of reading. While not every book here will be about Egypt necessarily, each one has helped inform our view of life in this part of the world, or of skills that are useful in living here. Generally speaking, when we read a book we post a review about it on the blog. In this way, you can learn along with us, and the process of writing a summary cements in our mind the information acquired.

On the off chance that any of these books strike your fancy and you would like to purchase them, if you do so through the links provided below we receive a percentage of your purchase price, should you buy new or used, or even any other item once you arrive. Of course, we recommend using the local library, but some books are nice to own; should you be so willing, thanks for sharing also with us.

The books are listed in reverse order of appearance in our blog. The title link will bring you to Amazon, while the second link will bring you to our review as originally posted. Thanks for being interested.
